Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your grand plan and for those You enlighten in it.
Open my heart to experience the joy that Simeon experienced when he held baby Jesus in his arms in the temple.
Grant me the grace to fully know that Jesus is my light and salvation, my rock eternal.
Grant me a soul that speaks to You, ears that are able to hear Your response and a heart that is surrendered to Your will.
Increase my capacity for gratitude for all Your blessings in my life, Your precious gifts, especially Your gift of Your son, my Savio, and my Lord, Jesus Christ, amen.
