“Therefore we have been buried with Him by baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.” Romans 6:4

Dear Father God,

Thank You for creating a perfect world, and even though we screwed it up with sin, rebellion against You, evil, and destruction, You still love us so much that You sent Your Son to save us from ourselves and our attraction to the dominion of the evil one, often unknowingly.

Thank You for the new life that is offered in Christ Jesus—a life that is dead to sin and where You work all things for good.

Grant that I walk in my new skin daily, radiating the love of Jesus, living with Him as Lord, not just my Savior, for this is where profound newness of life begins.
